In the moment this image captures we are surrounded by police officers and several helicopters have been buzzing low overhead, for hours. All of this to intimidate and stop young people demanding protection of the planet, from adults. In this moment we expressed our outrage at the situation, making sure those above understood us.
If we don't stand up and protect this planet soon our children will face such a hard future. Millions of youth leading protests are clearly calling adults to act.
These amazing young warriors are fighting for Earth's future. I hope that in seeing their brave hearts on the streets that you remember your own, and consider your child self. What does your heart say about protection of nature?
