When I was a young boy, I used to dream of meeting a great Siberian Tiger. Back then there were only an estimated 320 remaining in the wild.
Thanks to the creation of several national parks and extensive conservation work, this figure has now doubled.
To all those incredible individuals who were a part of this work; Thank You.
As wonderful as it is to see their populations increasing, the number of Siberian Tiger living in wild habitat is still painfully low. We really need to protect them.
In the most detailed ever study of Siberian Tiger populations it was recently revealed that only 562 individuals remain free across Far Eastern Russia. For this reason I am limiting this piece to an edition of only 562. Funds raised from this artwork go directly to protecting the remaining wild Tiger populations.
